Mohamed's lawyers are demanding £10million compensation
Ahmed Mohamed was flooded with messages of support and was even invited to meet US president Barack Obama after being arrested in September when a teacher who mistook his handcrafted clock for a bomb contacted the police.
But the 14-year-old Texan insists he is entitled to the staggering compensation, along with written apologies from the local mayor and police chief.
His lawyers warned if the City of Irving and Irving School District did not agree to apologise and pay the compensation, they would file a civil action.
