Watch out ISIS – France sends NUCLEAR warship to WIPE OUT jihadis as Hollande joins Putin
FRANCE has sent in the biggest warship in Europe with monster nuclear capabilities to intensify its fight against Islamic State (ISIS).
The Charles De Gaulle aircraft carrier set sail from Toulon base port yesterday
The Charles De Gaulle aircraft carrier set sail from Toulon base port yesterday as it began its journey to the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
The 40,000 ton nuclear ship is the only nuclear-powered carrier outside the US, and comes after the French Prime Minister feared terrorists were ready to use chemical bombs against the country.
Its mission means France will nearly triple the amount of Rafale fighter jets attacking ISIS.
Meanwhile, President Francois Hollande has since ordered the stepping up of France airstrikes against the evil terror group in Iraq as well as Syria.
France currently has 12 planes attacking targets across Syria from bases in Jordan and UAE but the deployment of Charles De Gaulle will add another 20.
The Royal Navy's most advanced warship, the HMS Defender, will provide cover for the carrier while it launches air strikes.
A Royal Navy spokesman said: “The ship is capable of controlling the air space across an area of 150,000 square miles, twice the size of Portugal, whilst being able to defend a task group of ships against attack from the air, either by aircraft or missiles.”

Cheering patriotic crowds came to see the warship off
The escalation of French involvement in the fight against ISIS comes after the Paris terror attacks that left 129 dead and hundreds more injured.
President Hollande told the French parliament on Monday that he is "not talking about deterring the Islamic State but about eliminating it totally."
He called the attacks "an act of war" and vowed to strike back "without mercy".
He has also ordered his army to co-operate with the Russians, after Vladimir Putin also told his warships to work with Frances as "allies".

Russia has also stepped up its bombardment of ISIS targets in revenge for the bombing of the MetroJet plane over the Sinai at the end of October that left 224 dead.
Putin vowed to "punish" those responsible for bringing down the Russian jet.
The Russian and French joint bombing campaign has pummelled the ISIS stronghold in Raqqa in recent days.
Syria: Russian Tu-22M3 bombers deployed to intensify air campaign
At least 33 terrorists have been killed in the last three days of attacks with dozens more wounded.
France has also fired on weapons depots, barracks, recruitment centres and checkpoints in Raqqa.
The Russian air force, which has deployed supersonic warplanes, also revealed that they struck an ISIS oil-processing facility in Syria yesterday.
Meanwhile, ISIS militants have banned residents from leaving the de-facto terror capital as fears grow that the jihadists intend to use civilians as human shields in future fighting.
