Eagles of Death Metal left 'horrified' and 'still coming to terms' with Paris attacks
THE band who were playing when terrorist gunmen killed 89 people at a Paris concert hall have spoken for the first time since Friday’s atrocity.

Eagles of Death Metal said they have been left "horrified" and are still "trying to come to terms" with what happened in the at the Bataclan on Friday.
Gunman attacked the venue shooting mercilessly at concert-goers and a siege lasted for two hours and forty minutes before police stormed it.
The three jihadis were killed - with two of them blowing themselves up.

The band put out a statement on Twitter saying their thoughts and prayers were with the victims of the attack.
The American group said: "We are horrified and still trying to come to terms with what happened in France."
At least 129 people were killed during a series of co-ordinated terror attacks in Paris, with ISIS claiming responsibility for the atrocities.

Eagles of Death Metal - who are comprised of frontman Jesse Hughes and Queens of the Stone Age star Josh Homme as well as touring musicians - lost their merchandise manager Nick Alexander, 36, from Colchester, Essex in the attack.
They said: “Our thoughts and hearts are first and foremost with out brother Nick Alexander, our record company comrades Thomas Ayad, Marie Mosser, and Manu Perez, and all the friends and fans whose lives were taken in Paris.”
The band confirmed their European tour and other shows were “on hold until further notice”.
They said: “Although bonded in grief with the victims, the fans, the families, the citizens of Paris and all those affected by terrorism, we are proud to stand together, with our new family, now united by a common goal of love and compassion.”

The group, who have released four albums, although paid tribute to the authorities, saying: “We would like to thank the French police, the FBI, the US and French State Departments and especially all those at ground zero with is who helped each other as best they could during this unimaginable ordeal, proving once again that love over shadows evil.
“Vive la musique, vive la liberté, vive la France and vive EODM.”
