Two feared dead after shooting outside police headquarters
A SHOOTOUT in the police headquarters in Sydney is reported to have left two people dead.
Reports say a man wearing black shot a civilian police worker
Australian media claim the shooting began in the lobby of the building in the suburb of Parramatta.
The Daily Telegraph has reported a gunman shot dead a police IT worker before being killed by special constrables at the entrance of the police station.
It also claimed the bodies were 200 metres away from the headquarters.
Roads have been closed off and images show sheets, apparently over bodies, on the street.
The incident happened at 4.30pm at Charles Street.

7 News helicopter pilot Andrew Millett said: "There are two bodies on the ground and we are just being told to move away and bit and give the police some room down there."
The gunman's victim was said to be a civilain IT worker at the police headquarters.
The shooter was said to be wearing all black.
New South Wales Police have confirmed a "critical incident investigation" is underway.
A statement said: "It appears an officer has discharged his weapon, responding to a report that a person had been shot.
"Two people have died at the scene.
"A crime scene has been established.

"A critical incident team will now investigate all circumstances surrounding the incident.
"Police are yet to establish the identity of the deceased."
