WATCH: Making a splash! Giant bull interrupts swimming contest
THIS is the bizarre moment a giant bull jumped in to a pool to paddle with swimming contestants- just moments before they were due to start a competition.
Bull swimming in pool
Swimmers at the state level match in Madhya Pradesh, India, watched in awe as the giant animal made itself at home and bathed for more than an hour.
Bemused competitors even took a shine to their new pool pal as they carried on swimming around the bull, who managed to slip into the complex via an open door.
After being coerced into the corner of the pool, it was eventually heaved up and out of the water.
An event coach said: "The bull was sitting in the corner of the pool complex before competition started.
"But as we were about to begin, he started moving into the water.
"It caused a one hour delay."

The cameraman, Rahul Dravid, who shot the footage last week described the "unexpected" moment.
"It was very unexpected. I was just setting up ready for the competitions to begin a little later when the cow ended up in the pool. I quickly grabbed my camera and filmed as it paddled about in the water.
"Cows are sacred here, so we are used to living around them. It was a very strange reason for the event to be delayed," he added.
