Villagers put killer tiger to death
Villagers and forest guards have beaten a tiger to death after it killed three people at a village near the world's largest mangrove forest - the Sundarbans - in southwestern Bangladesh.
The tiger strayed into south Kadamtala village in Satkhira district late on Friday and killed three people.
The tiger came out of the forest and crossed a river to enter the area.
The big cat also chased a fourth person and injured him after killing five goats in the area, according to local reports.
The villagers and officials cordoned off the tiger overnight at a nearby garden and waited until morning to kill it.
