Blanket protection...children test out bullet-proof material made after Sandy Hook tragedy
CHILDREN demonstrate bullet-proof blankets designed to protect them from crazed gunmen.
Makers of the £600 “Bodyguard Blanket”, just launched in America, say the military-grade material can deflect bullets from “90 per cent of all weapons used in school shootings”.
It was designed by dad Steve Walker after the 2012 Sandy Hook tragedy in Connecticut in which 20 children and six staff were shot dead.
