WHEN a car smashed into a two-year-old's pram and sent the toddler flying through the air, onlookers feared the worst.
Car crashes into child on sledge on icy road
But lucky Zhenya Fyodorova didn't just cheat death…she was left without a scratch on her.
The girl's grandmother, Lily Efremova, 57, was walking in the snowy street with Zhenya when she slipped on the icy road – and ended up shoving the pram ahead of and out into the road.
She said: "There was a slight downhill slope and I saw the pram heading towards the road and thought "Oh God, I hope there's no cars coming" and seconds later a car appeared from behind the garage and hit the pram at full speed."
Footage from the car's dashboard camera showed the vehicle weaving through the icy streets of Naberezhnye Chelny, in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.

When the pram suddenly appeared from the other side of the garage , 27-year-old driver Oleg Alexandrov had no time to react and his Ford ploughed into it, sending the toddler flying three meters through the air.
Mr Alexandrov and Ms Efremova both ran towards the crying infant but were astonished to find that the child was unhurt.
An emergency services spokesman said an ambulance had been dispatched to the scene but that the child had suffered no injuries other than being shocked by the incident.
She was returned to her parents the same day.
Just a few days earlier another child in the same city had an equally lucky escape after she was run over when a car reversed over the sledge that she was travelling on.
