VIDEO: Touching video shows baby elephants having a laugh in peaceful forest
INTIMATE video footage shows wild baby elephants frolicking about while enjoying the peace of a protected forest with their family in Cambodia.
The stunning images taken from Cambodia’s Seima Protection Forest shows an elephant family wallowing in mud holes, feeding, and playing together.
The heart warming clip was released by The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) on Earth Day 2013, an annual day in support of environmental protection.
Joe Walston, WCS Executive Director for the Asia Program, said: "These beautiful images in Seima Protection Forest are a visual testimony of what conservation success can look like."
The area is now a haven for 23 carnivore species, including seven cat species, two bears, and the Asian wild dog.
The WCS is working with partners across Africa and Asia on ways to stop the killing, trafficking of elephants along with the demand for ivory.
