'What do I care?' Argentina Foreign Minister's response to Margaret Thatcher funeral snub
ARGENTINA'S Foreign Minister has said he 'doesn't care' that his country's President did not receive an invite to Margaret Thatcher's funeral.
Héctor Timerman brushed aside the snub to Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, claiming the news was another 'provocation' to his administration.
Baroness Thatcher's family had barred the President from attending the funeral next week saying it would be inappropriate.
Speaking on La Plata radio station, the Argentine politician said: "What do I care if I'm not invited somewhere that I wasn't planning on going?
"It's just another provocation."

Lady Thatcher passed away on Monday after suffering a stroke at the Ritz hotel and she will be given a ceremonial funeral on Wednesday.
There has been talk that the Falklands Islands capital, Port Stanley, could be renamed Port Margaret.
However, Mr Timerman dismissed the idea saying: "I don't care if they want to call it Port Margaret, Margarita or Margarona, neither Argentina or the United Nations recognise it."
