Hunter rescued from icy US river
A hunter who fell through ice on the Colorado River was rescued after spending more than 30 minutes in the water.
The man, believed to be aged 60, was treated for hypothermia after the incident near Grand Junction.
Fire chiefs said he went on to the ice after a dog that was chasing a duck or goose.
Other hunters saw him fall and called the emergency services and he held on to an ice shelf with one leg until help arrived.
A firefighter with a floating board swam out and helped him to safety.
The dog was unharmed.
