Blow for Julian Assange
A MOVE by WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to reopen his appeal against extradition to Sweden – where he faces sex crime allegations – has failed.
Seven Supreme Court justices yesterday unanimously dismissed the move as being “without merit”.
Swedish authorities want Assange, 40, to answer accusations of raping one woman and sexually molesting another in
Stockholm in August 2010.
He denies the allegations.
