Russia issues horror WW3 threat as 7 places named as targets - 'Burn everything down'
The commentator claimed Russia was approaching a "difficult line" beyond which Moscow would be forced to dramatically intensify the war in Ukraine.
A Kremlin propagandist has issued a chilling World War 3 threat, naming five countries and regions he believes should be targeted as Russia escalates its rhetoric against Ukraine and NATO. Sergey Karnaukhov, host of the Russian radio programme Karnaukhov's Labyrinth on the pro-Kremlin Solovyov Live channel, called for military strikes against locations in Romania, Poland, Germany, France and the Baltic states during a furious broadcast.
The commentator claimed Russia was approaching a "difficult line" beyond which Moscow would be forced to dramatically intensify the war in Ukraine. Referring to the Polish city of Rzeszow, a key logistics hub for military aid heading into Ukraine, Karnaukhov said countries supporting Kyiv were frightened that "heavy missiles will fly against these spots". He singled out Romania and argued Russia should begin attacking sites he claimed were working against Moscow, before calling for military-industrial facilities across Eastern Europe to be destroyed. Karnaukhov said: "We should simply blow up into smithereens all objects of a military industrial complex in the Baltics, in Eastern Europe, definitely in Germany and in France."
The Russian host also called for a dramatic escalation inside Ukraine itself, suggesting entire cities could be levelled if Moscow moved to what he described as a higher stage of the conflict.
He claimed that if Russia changed the format of its military operation, "there'll be nothing left of Ukraine".
In one of the most alarming passages of the broadcast, Karnaukhov advocated giving civilians three days to leave targeted areas before launching large-scale attacks.
"The cities will simply be burned down," he said. "Then strikes are carried out, and there is total cleansing."
The propagandist went on to demand attacks on Odesa's port facilities and called for the destruction of government, security and administrative infrastructure in Kyiv and other major Ukrainian cities.
Listing potential targets, he referenced data centres, police facilities, intelligence agencies, courts and local government buildings before declaring: "Burn everything down."
His comments come amid continued tensions between Russia and NATO countries over military support for Ukraine.
Although Karnaukhov does not speak on behalf of the Russian government, his comments offer a glimpse into the hardline rhetoric regularly broadcast on Kremlin-aligned media outlets.
