Iran US: Over 30 dead after fresh attack on Lebanon as war spreads
It has been reported that Israeli strikes on Lebanon has killed more than 30 people

The war is spreading in the Middle East as Israel launched attacks on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon on March 2. The Lebanese health ministry has claimed at least 31 people were killed and several more were left injured following the attack.
Israel's decision to launch attacks on Hezbollah came after the Iran-affiliated group claimed responsibility for strikes on an Israeli missile defence site. Joseph Aoun, the Lebanese president, denounced the attacks launched from Lebanese territory, as well as the Israeli counterstrikes. "This is something the state will not allow to be repeated, and the Lebanese people - who are still working to this day to heal the wounds caused by previous confrontations - will not accept it," he said on X.
This comes amid US and Israeli continuous strikes in Iran, which were first launched as part of Operation Epic Fury on Saturday. Iran has since struck several countries in the Middle East, and a drone strike targeted a RAF base in Cyprus, prompting fresh fears WW3 may near.
