Perth is one of the world’s most isolated cities despite being the capital of Western Australia.

Youtuber, Manuel Campos, visited the city and said its nature is unlike any other. The city is known as a vibrant and dynamic destination which offers a unique lifestyle.

Popular among British expats, the city is a part of Australia that Brits often look at when planning to make the move down under.

Perth has a unique blend of city life and natural beauty. Its breathtaking Swan River is a stunning natural feature in the area.

The city is the most isolated in the world which comes as a surprise to many. The closest Australian city to Perth (of more than 500,000 people) is Adelaide, which is 2,136 km away.

Beaches are pristine in Perth and its sunny climate makes for the perfect relaxed place to live or holiday.

If you’re looking for a special experience to add to your trip, you can take a desert sunset stargazing tour. One person on Tripadvisor who did the tour said: “How can anyone have a bad experience here? It was astonishing and perfect for our little family gathering. Mesmerising to say the least and we are already planning another trip for the future!”

With a population of over two million people, the city is a thriving capital of culture, heritage, and cosmopolitan life.

One of its most popular nature attractions is Kings Park, one of the largest inner-city parks in the world. With over 400 hectares, the park is a popular destination for locals and tourists and offers incredible views of the skyline.

The city is also home to a range of great beaches. One of the most popular is Cottesloe Beach which is just a 20 minute drive from the city. Its postcard perfect look leaves visitors in awe, known for its summery vibe and picturesque scenery - this beach is a must visit.

If you’re hoping to see some of Perth’s wildlife, you can also go whale watching. From April to December is the best time to catch a glimpse of these incredible sea creatures. Each year, approximately 35,000 humpback whales travel from Antarctica to the Kimberley's warmer waters and return close to Perth's coast.
