Woman wins £138m lottery jackpot
A woman in the US has cashed in a lone winning ticket for a £138 million lottery jackpot.
The New Jersey school board member won the £211.7 million dollar Powerball draw last month.
Sandra McNeil, of Morristown, has now claimed her prize following the March 13 draw.
Citing privacy concerns, New Jersey lottery officials said Ms McNeil asked that no news conference or cheque presentation be held.
Her lawyer, Peter Pittenger, said she has taken a leave of absence from her job, which was not disclosed.
Ms McNeil has been a Morris School District Board of Education member for four years.
