Joe Biden slammed by Democrat on pushing back policies
During an explosive interview, Mr Biden revealed his administration is preparing a response to any acts from the Russian government to damage the US election. In an incredible admission, when asked if he believed Vladimir Putin was "a killer", the President agreed with the TV host. In the interview, Mr Biden also revealed a conversation with the Russian President where he claimed Putin did not have a soul.
In the interview with ABC News host George Stephanopoulos, Mr Biden stated he had previously warned Moscow over any interference in US elections.
He added: "He will pay a price. We had a long talk, he and I.
"I know him relatively well and the conversation started off, I said, 'I know you and you know me. If I establish this occurred then be prepared'.
"The price he's going to pay, well, you'll see shortly."
Mr Biden's comments come as Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, released a report claiming Russia did authorise an influence campaign in the US.
The report states a plan had been hatched to damage Mr Biden's election hopes and comes after alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.
It added the campaign was used as a ploy to push narratives aimed at discrediting Mr Biden in the lead up to the election.
Mr Biden added: "It was when President Bush said he looked in his Putin's eyes and saw his soul.

"I said, 'I looked in your eyes and I don't think you have a soul.'
"He looked back and said, 'We understand each other'.
"The most important thing in dealing with foreign leaders in my experience and dealt with an awful lot over my career is just know the other guy."
The report from Ms Haines claimed no foreign government had compromised the final result of the election, however.

Russia has rejected the claims from the US and labelled them as baseless.
The Russian embassy in Washington said: "The conclusions of the report are confirmed solely by the confidence of the intelligence services of their self-righteousness.
"No facts or specific evidence of such claims were provided."
As hinted by Mr Biden, it is expected the US will levy sanctions on Russia due to the conclusions made in the report.
Russia state actors have long been accused of interfering in US politics.
Both Iran and China have also been accused of attempting to launch interference campaigns.
While sanctions on Russia are expected to follow, the US has already imposed heavy penalties on Iran.
Relations with China also remain unclear amid allegations over the outbreak of coronavirus in Wuhan and its role in the South China Sea.
