Typhoon Trami continues to move across Japan
At least two people have been killed and almost 130 are injured by the Category 1 typhoon.
But there are fears the death toll could rise today.
Trami made landfall near the western city of Osaka on Sunday at 8pm local time (12am BST).
Gusts of wind reached speeds of up to 216 km/h (134 mph).
Heavy rains, strong winds and landslides have now hit the northern-most main island of Hokkaido, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.

More than 400,000 households were left without power, Reuters reported.
Two trees were also brought down onto railroad tracks and debris was strewn across capital city Tokyo early on Monday.
This resulted thousands of people being stranded as train lines and flights were cancelled or severely delayed.
More than 1,000 flights were cancelled at major airports throughout Japan, including Tokyo's Narita and Haneda.
Kansai International Airport in Osaka, in western Japan, said it had opened its runways as normal at 6am local time (10pm BST), after being closed since 11am on Sunday.
The airport was heavily flooded earlier last month by Typhoon Jebi.
The typhoon was the most powerful storm to hit Japan in 25 years.
Up to 11 people were killed in September after Japan had already experienced extreme weather during the summer.

At least 221 people were killed after heavy rain caused landslides and flooding in western Japan in July.
People in Japan are being warned to prepare for another typhoon later this week.
Typhoon Kong-rey is set to pose a danger to the souther Ryukyu Islands after it quickly intensifies in the Philippine Sea.
Northern Taiwan, eastern China and Korea may also be at risk from Kong-rey.
