Doh! Blundering shop workers apologise for 'any incontinence' after closing toilet
BLUNDERING shop workers put a sign on an out of order toilet - apologising for “any incontinence”.
The shop workers mixed up inconvenience for incontinence
Staff stuck a notice above a urinal in the gents’ loo at the Debenhams department store.
Workers meant to say they were sorry for the “inconvenience” caused to shoppers.
But instead they wrote “incontinence” on the sign at the Cardiff city centre shop.
A customer took a photograph of the poster which has now been taken down.
He said: “I presume it is an innocent spelling mistake as opposed to a genuine cause of concern for staff.
“It made me smile, anyway.”
Debenhams have been asked for a comment about the sign.
