Feline like a rock god: Moustachioed moggy is Freddie double
TO say this moustachioed moggie has a nose for fame would be an understatement.
Because Stache the cat has got a worldwide following thanks to his unusual markings.
The furry faced feline was named by owner Christine Gonzalez, who said she had little choice but to give him this name after seeing his unique facial colouring.
An Oriental Shorthair, Stache has attracted widespread attention online, gaining over 600,000 hits on his photos and being likened to celebrities like Groucho Marx and Charlie Chaplain.
Stache was coincidentally born in November, the month where men across the world grow and document their facial hair for Movember, a charity campaign focused on men's health.

Many even ask if his moustache is real
Gonzalez, who lives in Ocean Township, New Jersey with Stache and 16-year old Romeo, another Oriental Shorthair, says Stache was a shy kitten when brought home at seven months, but has since turned into a confident boy.
"He is such a sweet boy who is just so happy with his daily routine and playtime and thrives in his new environment. His growth and development are improving by leaps and bounds every day".
Commenting on Stache's unique features, Christine stated "He certainly is no ordinary cat and the fact that his colouring with a full moustache is so unique as well as his upbeat personality makes him an instant hit with everyone" Many even ask if his moustache is real".
