Sweet dreams for the baby squirrels saved from Hurricane Katia
THESE cute baby squirrels showed us the true meaning of taking a well-earned rest after they were saved from the aftermath of Hurricane Katia.
As gale force winds struck Britain in the aftermath of the hurricane, these sweet baby squirrels were tossed from their nest.
Just five-weeks old, the tiny animals were rescued by a passer-by and taken to the Sanctuary Wildlife Care Centre in Northumberland where they have been kept warm and safe till they are ready to be released.

The youngsters currently need feeding every three hours, so they are certainly keeping the sanctuary staff busy apart of course from when they are taking a little well-deserved nap.
We couldn't help but put up these adorable pics up for your viewing pleasure - so enjoy.
