On your bike...Prince William and Kate's wacky ride
IT may not be quite the royal carriage Prince William and Kate Middleton have in mind for Westminster Abbey, but bike designer Didi Senft is raising eyebrows with this bizarre tribute to the couple.
Didi, from Strokow, Germany, created the royal wedding rickshaw by welding together a sawn-off Trabant car and the front end of bicycle for Prince William and Kate Middleton to travel in on their way to Westminster Abbey.
"They are a lovely couple and this is a personal tribute to them. The Union Jacks show Prince William's heritage.
"I added the baby to encourage them a little because they are not so young and have to go quickly for the next generation," Didi explained to the Austrian Times, who holds a Guinness World Record for his wacky designs.
