Cute baby polar bear cubs take over from beloved Knut
THESE cute polar bear cubs celebrated their first day out in front of the public with a bit of monkey business, making the death of the world's favourite polar bear Knut a little easier.
The polar bear cubs - Gregot and Aleut, now four months old - joined mum Vera as they met their fans for the first time at Nuremberg Zoo, Germany.
The youngsters - normally at home in the Arctic Circle - couldn’t wait to chill out in the zoo’s specially cooled pond under mum’s watchful eye.

The cubs now tip the scales at 45 lbs - but will one day get close to three quarters of a ton.
Keeper Petra Fritz told the Austrian Times : "Vera is taking to motherhood very well and the cubs are in excellent health. They are are just like her - bold and adventurous. They are just so sweet."
