Chefs crack world omelette record
CHEFS have have whipped up the world's biggest omelette.
Cooks in Canino, Italy, used 1,500 eggs, 100 kilos of asparagus and used seven litres of olive oil to fry the six foot wide creation in a giant pan.
Then, after its dimensions had been verified by Guinness World Records officials, they cut up the smack to serve it it spectators.
One fan told the Austrian Times: "It was delicious and it's quite something to have eaten part of a world record."
