UK weather maps show when 28C heat surge returns - 17 counties above 24C

Brits are likely to experience another round of hot weather conditions as the temperature levels are set to rise to sweltering 28C in days. WXcharts weather maps, which are prepared using the MetDesk data suggest that extreme weather will hit the country on June 11 with 17 counties experiencing temperature above 24C.
The heat surge comes two weeks after the country braced the heatwave with the temperatures soaring above 35C. Parts of the UK experienced several days of heatwave conditions throughout the week, culminating in a new May record when temperatures reached 35.1C in London earlier this week.

However, the conditions turned cooler this weekend as several areas in the country witnessed rain and thundery showers. But, as per the latest maps, the heat conditions will make a return in the second week of June.
Areas around London and Kent will experience the hottest weather with the mercury levels soaring as high as 28C, the maps have suggested.
The Met Office's long-range forecast between June 5 and 11 reads: "Changeable early in this period with Atlantic frontal systems moving across the UK.
"These will bring showers or longer spells of rain at times, with wettest conditions in the northwest, driest in the southeast. Strong winds may affect parts of the UK at times, especially the northwest.
"Later in the period, higher pressure and drier weather may begin to become more prevalent, especially in the south. Temperatures are likely to be near normal overall."
