Britain's soggy September is due to get even worse with the latest weather maps showing another deluge will drench the UK in a matter of days.

Large parts of England has been flooded in the past week, with holiday parks evacuated and football matches postponed.

Now maps WXCharts is predicting yet more wet weather. On Sunday (September 29), according to the forecaster's radar, a giant band of rain is going to hit Britain's west coast from the Atlantic.

The weather front, which will strike the Cornish coast and South Wales before moving inland, will eventually consume most of the country, the radar suggests.

Around 9pm the entire country, with the exception of northern Scotland, will see some rainfall. In certain areas, the downpours are expected to be fierce with around 5mm of rain.

However, the conditions won't compare to the astonishing rainfall that saw Britain flooded on Monday.

Earlier this week, some areas of the country saw a month's worth of rainfall, with Wimbledon's Cherry Red Records Stadium waterlogged so badly a sinkhole emerged.

This comes with the Met Office issuing new and rare amber weather warnings for rain.

These alerts have been issued across the Midlands and parts of the South West from 6pm tonight until 6am on Friday.

The Met Office warned: "Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding and transport disruption this evening and overnight."
