Early arrival festival goers had an extremely muddy and wet start up and down the country after torrential rain battered parts of the UK this week.
Widespread downpours over the course of several days led to flooding and road closures around Britain.
Some areas have even seen a month’s worth of rain fall in just one day.
Riverbanks have burst and towns and villages have been hit by rising flood waters as the deluge continues.

The maximum temperature expected today is 18C.
It will be dry this evening with some clear spells, along with light winds but it will become a little cloudier into the early hours, while staying dry.
The minimum temperature will be around 9C.
On Saturday, the day is expected to begin with scattered showers developing through the morning and continuing into the afternoon.
These could turn heavy for a time, but are expected to quiet down later with a maximum temperature of 18C for the day.
On Sunday, festival goers can expect scattered and occasionally heavy showers.
Isle of Wight
For people at the Isle of Wight it looks like after a bit of rain this morning things are going to get brighter and there’s even a high UV warning.
Today clouds will break for some sun with a couple of showers interspersed, but mainly earlier in the day.
It is expected to be breezy, buy warm with the temperatures reaching 16C throughout the day.
This evening, it will become partly cloudy with temperatures dropping to 11C.
On Saturday, a couple of showers are expected throughout the day, but the temperature is expected to remain around 16C with sunny spells.
The evening is due to turn wetter with showers expected and occasional rain and drizzle is anticipated overnight.
Sunday looks pleasant with temperatures for the day hitting 17C although a couple of showers are expected throughout the day.
For those heading home on Sunday evening, it is expected to be dry but cloudy.
