The President of the United States has been branded "out of control" after sharing an update about the war in the Middle East. On Monday, April 6, Donald Trump addressed the world to provide new information on the ongoing conflict in Iran.

It has now been over a month since the US military began collaborating with Israel in a bid to topple Iran's regime. However, during the press conference, it was alleged that Trump revealed "secrets" in a performance that's been described as utterly "erratic".

Americans are now declaring they refuse to believe his supposed "lies" as the conflict continues to rage across the Middle East, with Trump threatening further action should the Strait of Hormuz fail to reopen this week. Social media commentator Jay's World has now shared his observations regarding the press conference.

He said: "Wow, Trump's press conference is one for the books. Wild stuff coming out of there. He acknowledged that Iran's military was very powerful, and then we learned there were hundreds of commandos in this operation.

"Not just 100, hundreds. They wouldn't even say how many exactly. Then we learned that an A-10 went down in this operation. It was hit by enemy fire, and the pilot had to fly over friendly territory, eject and then the plane crashed."

He added: "So we also lost an A-10 and we're learning that they were able to identify the pilot, the weapons officer, using apparently advanced satellite technology. They had to wait until he had moved a significant amount to positively ID him, and he was high up in the mountains, and they used this disinformation campaign to keep those Iranian forces off his track.

"We're learning how dangerous this was. Trump said that not all of the members of the military were on board with his operation.

"There were people within the ranks that did not want to do it, because it was so dangerous, and then he went on to say that he is going to run for President of Venezuela - that he's pulling higher than anyone else there.

"Guys, truly bonkers stuff, and he went back and forth saying no one was injured in the operation to there were some minor injuries and everyone is going to be fine. So we're not even sure how many people were injured in this operation."

Jay's assessment relates to information that surfaced after a rescue operation that occurred last week. It has since been verified that the US relied upon dozens of aircraft, hundreds of personnel, classified CIA technology and a degree of subterfuge to extract a two-man F-15E fighter jet crew following an incident in Iran.

It is reported that US forces successfully rescued the pilot within hours of the jet coming down late on Thursday. Meanwhile, the second aviator on board — the weapons systems officer — was subsequently rescued approximately two days later.

Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, confirmed that the A-10 Warthog, the attack aircraft primarily tasked with maintaining contact with the downed pilot on the ground, was struck by enemy fire while engaging Iranian forces.

It was noted that the A-10 was "not landable", yet the pilot pressed on, flying to a friendly nation before ejecting. He was swiftly rescued and is reported to be fine.

Since Jay's video was shared, thousands of people have watched it, with dozens leaving comments to share their views on the press conference, with some accusing him of telling "lies". One person said: "I do not believe anything he said."

Another added: "It was a complete joke, as usual." A third replied: "Could not finish listening. He's so out of control."

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "I believe about 1/50 of what Trump says." One more also wrote: "Do we really believe him anymore?"
