During a recent broadcast on the Melbourne breakfast show hosted by Jase and Lauren, radio hosts unveiled the true flavor, leaving many fans disappointed with the revelation.
In a TikTok video that resurfaced, Lauren Phillips treated her co-host, Jason Hawkins, to nuggets with his favorite sauce.
However, the excitement faded when he learned that the popular dip is made with apricot.
Initially thrilled to be enjoying nuggets, Jase's mood took a turn when he expressed his dislike for apricots and even discarded the nugget.
He said: "I hate apricot.. I can taste the apricot now."
The video quickly gained attention from thousands of viewers who shared in Jase's astonishment at the unexpected revelation.
While her co-host dug into the chicken nuggets covered in sauce, Hannah asked: "Have you ever thought about what Sweet 'n Sour sauce is actually flavored?"
Right after he took his first bite of the chicken, she said: "Would you believe it is actually.. apricot flavour?"
