London bloodbath: Man rushed to hospital after Hornsey stabbing
A MAN has been raced to hospital after being stabbed in Hornsey Rise, north London, as the capital's knife crime epidemic continues.
Police and parademics were called to Hornsey Road in N19, close to Finsbury Park, after the brutal stabbing at around 3:43pm.
Officers have cordoned off the road to traffic in both directions, with bus routes diverted at the junction of Beaumont Rise.
The victim was taken to a hospital in east London for treatment, but police said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A man was arrested close to the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

A spokeswoman for Scotland Yard said: "Police were called at approximately 3:43pm today to reports of a stabbing on Hornsey Road, N19.
"Officers attended and found a male suffering from a stab wound.
"He has been taken to an east London hospital by the London Ambulance Service, with injuries that are not life-threatening or life-changing.
"His next of kin have been informed.
"A male was arrested near to the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
"He has been taken to a central London police station. A crime scene remains in place. Enquiries continue."
Violent crime is on the rise across London, with the total number of offences involving a knife or bladed instrument hitting a seven-year high.
The Metropolitan Police recorded 40,147 such crimes in the year to March 2018, according to official figures.
