Disturbing footage shows a teenager collapse onto the crowd, clutching his bleeding stomach and screaming out in pain.
The stabbing, which unfolded on Grove Road, Mile End, took place in the midst of a 90-minute spate of knife terror that struck the capital on Thursday night.
Six teenagers were stabbed in London in the short period of time, adding to what has become a crisis point on London's streets.
London's crime rate has hit a seven-year-high, overtaking the current rate in New York City, with 55 murders recorded since the start of the year.

In the video, a crowd of young men surround the wounded teenager, as people desperately attempt to stop the blood loss.
Following the attack, brazenly carried out in broad daylight, the youth is filmed writhing around on the ground in agony.
The footage was captured by a passing car and has since gone viral on social media.
Officials later confirmed the incident and that two 15-year-old boys had been taken to hospital for knife wounds and were now in a stable condition.
A 16-year-old boy was treated for minor injuries at the scene and has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit grevious bodily harm.
Another man remains in custody on suspicion of attempted murder.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said of that incident: “We sent multiple resources to the scene including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and an advanced paramedic, with the first of our medics arriving in just over six minutes.
“We treated three patients at the scene, and have taken two to hospital as a priority."

A Met Police spokesman confirmed these reports with a statement: "Two boys, aged 15, taken to hospital following stabbing in Grove Road, E3 remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
"The 16-year-old treated for minor injuries has now been arrested for conspiracy to commit GBH. Another male also remains in custody for attempted murder.'
Jack Hawke, 33, witnessed the aftermath of the horrific attack, describing how he heard "yelling" outside his window, where he saw three boys, one on a bicycle, with their faces covered.
In quick succession to these knife attacks, more stabbings were reported in Ealing Broadway and Westferry - with an earlier attack also reported in Walthamstow.
A 13-year-old boy was also seriously wounded after being stabbed in Newham, east London, with three youths arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan called the rising number of murders “heartbreaking”, as he blamed the recent surge on the government cuts to the policing budget.
