Camilla Versteegh (L) agreed the pre-nuptial deal on the eve of her marriage to Gerard Versteegh (R)
Camilla Versteegh agreed the pre-nuptial deal on the eve of her marriage to Gerard Versteegh in Sweden in 1993.
The family moved to England where they “accumulated immense wealth”, living in a £62.5million home in Kensington, west London, and enjoyed a “truly exceptional” standard of living.
But after the marriage broke down in “tragic circumstances”, Mrs Versteegh, 52, walked away with a third of the family wealth following a hearing at the Family Division of the High Court in London in 2016.
Mrs Versteegh wanted a package worth £116million – including £67million in cash.

But at the original hearing, judge Sir Peter Singer awarded her £51million plus some shares “worth very little” to her.
He said the split was less than usual because of the pre-nup.
Yesterday the Court of Appeal heard her barrister argue that “justice and fairness demands” she be given another £25million.
The hearing continues.
