BREXITEER Sir Bill Cash trashed columnist Zoe William's claim that civil servants do not have a clear steer over Brexit.
Cash DESTROYS columnist's claim on Civil Servants
Sir Bill Cash dismantled columnist Zoe Wiliams’ claim that Civil Servants do not know what to do when it comes to advising the Government on Brexit.
Speaking on BBC Daily Politics, the Tory Brexiteer snapped at Ms Williams when she said “nobody tells Civil Servants what to do” when it comes to Brexit.
Ms Williams claimed: “Civil servants if they had a clear steer, would be prosecuting that steer. The problem is that nobody will tell them what to do.

Sir Bill promptly contradicted the lefty journalist.
He said: “They have a clear steer. I’m terribly sorry but you seem to have missed something. They have got a clear steer."
As Williams insisted civil servants do not even know whether they want to stay in the Customs Union or not, the Brexiteer dismantled her accusation.
Bill Cash: There will be a big ROW if we stay in Customs Union

He said: “They absolutely do. We’re not going to be in the customs union, we’re not going to be in the single market.
“When the Council decision was announced two or three days ago, the fact is that in that document it actually prescribes that we would be in the customs union and we’d be in the single market and that we were subject to the European Court of Justice.
“These are the very big questions and the fact is the Government is saying we will not be in the customs union, we will not be in the single market, for one reason.
“That is, if you repeal the 1972 Act, you change the whole nature of the European Union and Our relationship with it.”
Prime Minister Theresa May has vowed to take the UK out of the Customs Union and the single market throughout the entirety of the Brexit negotiations, demanding a bespoke trade deal that will include financial services for the City of London.
Speaking from China, Mrs May also sent a stern attack to Brussels claiming she will not guarantee EU citizens’ rights in the UK during the transitional period starting in March 2019.
