SIX people have been charged with offences related to the far-right British terror group National Action.
National Action is proscribed as a terror group by the UK government
The group were all charged with belonging to a proscribed organisation contrary to section 11 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
One of the group, named as Christopher Lythgoe of Woolston, was also charged with encouragement to commit murder.
A 22-year-old, who cannot be named, was also charged with the intention of committing acts of terrorism contrary to section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006 and threats to kill.
All six are in custody following a wave of anti-terror arrests in the north-west of Britain last month.
The group will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Group
National Action is a secretive, far-right group in the UK categorised as a terror organisation by the Government.
They have glorified the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox last year. They posted a message of support for her killer online which said "don't let this man's sacrifice go in vain".
They are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Friday 27 October 2017.
