AN ARROGANT driver who took up a shocking four parking spaces has defended his actions as he did not want his car to get scratched.

The owner of a white Seat decided to leave his car hogging not just two, but four parking spots outside a supermarket in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

Fabio Silva, who claimed to be the owner, explained his reasoning online, posting: “Nothing quite like parking and taking up four spaces.
“Start spending hundreds of pounds on your car and then you'll understand where I'm coming from.
“Sorry for not wanting idiots ruining my pride and joy.”
He later posted: “Achievement completed - piss off the public”
Some drivers have defended the move
After his message was uploaded to the ‘Spotted Spalding’ Facebook page, irate shoppers have criticised the driver’s decision, but some have defended the move.
Geoff Mannin wrote: “Definition of Selfish? How about we all take the I am more important than everyone else attitude?”
