ALEX Salmond poked fun at Theresa May’s supposedly mischievous confession when she admitted running through fields of wheat as a young child.

The Prime Minister said she was a “goody two shoes” as a youngster as she revealed the “naughtiest” thing she ever did.
She claimed the “farmers weren’t too pleased” about her escapades - but the confession prompted ridicule on social media.
The comments provoked a barrage of hilarious responses on Twitter with some mocking up hilarious videos.
And now the former Scottish first minister has jumped on the band wagon, after spotting an opportunity while out and about canvassing for SNP votes in Huntly.

The SNP head posed in a field for a picture which he uploaded to Facebook and Twitter with the caption: “Tempted to be naughty. #fieldsofwheat.”
The joke seemed to be well appreciated by his fans online.
James Cannon said: "Dinnae dae it Alex, the thought you an Teresa in a wheat field disnae bare thinking about."
Dave Kemp added: "Dae it Alex jist dinny let the fermer catch yeh. Yer a naughty man so yeh are."

While one SNP supporter Margaret Pollock posted a video of her wading through a field armed with a huge board canvassing for votes.
Polling stations open between 7am and 10pm tonight, with exit polls expected at around 10pm.
