Waterloo CHAOS: Commuters face travel delays after man killed by train
LONDON commuters are facing a slow journey home tonight following major disruption to rail services from Waterloo.

A person was hit by a train between London Waterloo and Clapham junction this afternoon at around 3pm.
South West Trains have said the services will be subject to “short notice cancellations”.
The disruptions are expected until 2am on Tuesday morning.
A statement by South West Trains said: “Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Queenstown Road, Battersea, will not be served. Disruption is expected until 2pm 25/04.
“Train plan:- West of England trains will start from and terminate at Basingstoke- Other alterations will be made as requiredDue to the time this has taken place, please be aware that our evening peak will be very busy.
"You may want to consider using alternative routes or taking a later train from London Waterloo.
Commuters are struggling to get home this evening
"Queuing systems will be put in place at stations affected.”
British Transport Police have said: “We were called to reports that a person had been struck by a train at Queenstown Road station in London at around 3pm today.
“Officers attended along with paramedics but sadly a man died at the scene.

“The incident is not currently being treated as suspicious.
“Officers are working to identify the man and inform his next of kin.”

A National Rail spokesman warned that evening services are expected to be very busy and recommends commuters consider using alternative routes.
Commuters have taken to social media with pictures of the ambulances at the Battersea incident.
Matthew Knowles tweeted: “Good luck anyone trying to get out of Waterloo tonight #carnage.”
