The POLICE have launched a probe into a "suspicious package" found at an army barracks in Leeds.

The package was located at Thornbury Barracks in Leeds.
Bomb disposal experts have been drafted in to investigate the incident further and the area has been cordoned off.
The public have been asked to avoid the area while the team carries out their probe.

West Yorkshire Police said: “Please note Bradford Road is currently closed at Gain Lane and Woodhall Lane following a report of a suspicious package at Thornbury Barracks.
“Officers are on the scene and the public are asked to please avoid the area while enquiries are continuing.”
Locals have been warned to expect widespread delays in the area until further notice.
