A NANNY shook or beat a 10-month-old baby to death, a court heard.

Joshua was rushed to hospital with bleeding on the brain, in the eyes, and spinal injuries, a jury was told.
He suffered three heart attacks.
He died in his parents’ arms at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, in September 2014.

Hungarian Tautz, 34, worked for £3.60 an hour at Joshua’s home in Wood Green, north London.
He was born prematurely with two holes in his heart, Blackfriars Crown Court heard.
He had recovered and was progressing well, Zoe Johnson, QC, prosecuting, said.
Tautz said she had earlier played “horsey” with the little boy in which Joshua sat on her knee but this was ruled out as a cause of death, the court heard.

The nanny also claimed he convulsed after she picked him up, stopped breathing and went “floppy".
Tautz, of Friern Barnet, north London, denies manslaughter.
The case continues.
