BREAKING: Commuter chaos after train lines 'blocked'
THOUSANDS of commuters will face delays leaving London at rush hour this evening following an incident in the city.
Commuters are facing long delays again after trains were delayed in London
National Rail said an incident near Harpenden, north of London, is causing serious delays.
Chaos could continue well into the evening as lines are blocked with earlier trains.
An operational incident is said to be the cause of the problem.
Thameslink tweeted telling commuters: "Due to an operating incident at Harpenden, some southbound lines are currently blocked."
Underground services are also delayed on the Bakerloo Line

Tube lines were also blocked in London following "severe" delays on the Bakerloo Line.
TFL said there were "Severe delays between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone due to a signal failure at Kensal Green."
The chaos follows more than ten hours of delays yesterday after two men were hit by trains in Woking and New Malden.

Passengers are delayed after an incident at Harpenden
Confused commuters took to social media to find out what was happening.
One man claimed his train started moving in the wrong direction.
He said: “On the 15.51 train from Luton airport into london. Train stuck at Harpenden for 10 mins, no announcements? Now going backwards?”
A press officer for Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) said the delays were caused by an “operational incident”.
GTR said it is currently “under investigation”.
