Buckingham Palace panic as air ambulance lands and police swarm after 'accident'
AN AIR ambulance landed outside the gates of Buckingham Palace in dramatic scenes.

Numerous people on social media said it is due to an "accident" but worry spread through the crowd for the Royals.
The air ambulance reportedly landed just after the changing of the guard had finished at midday.
Witnesses reported a heavy police presence.
Twitter users took to the internet to question whether or not anyone inside the Palace had been injured.
One person Tweeted: "A trauma helicopter just landed at Buckingham Palace. What's the news?! #GODSAVETHEQUEEN"

Officers await an update on the condition of the male rider who has been injured
It was later confirmed none of the Royal family were involved.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called shortly before midday, 6 September to reports of a car and bicycle in collision on Constitution Hill, SW1.
“Officers, LAS and London's Air Ambulance are all in attendance.
“Officers await an update on the condition of the male rider who has been injured.
“The road is closed as enquiries continue.”
