SHOCK WARNING: British schools facing influx of extremists as German facility shuts
BRITISH boarding schools should prepare for an influx of extremists because of the closure of a controversial German education establishment, an Islamic expert has claimed.
There are at least 40 schools in Britain taught the Saudi curriculum
The warnings come as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia actioned the closure of the King Fahd School in the city of Bonn.
Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman claims he is shutting the school as part of a framework of the country's "Vision 2030" program.
According to reports the state of Saudi Arabia is cutting back state funding due to the crash in oil prices.
However, it has also been claimed the school is being shut because it was teaching controversial Wahhabism.
In July 2013, ultra-conservative Wahhabism was identified by the European Parliament in Strasbourg as a “source of global terrorism”.

The school had 30 teachers and approximately 150 students from Arabic-speaking countries.
Ralph Ghadban, a Berlin-based political scientist and Islam expert, said the children are likely now to be heading to the UK for the start of term.
He told Die Welt: "We've waited a long time for this to happen.
"Some radical Muslims will send their children to certain boarding schools in Britain that are known for their radical interpretation of Islam.”

Commentator Henner Fürtig also agreed the shutting of the school is partly due to claims that the school "indoctrinated" children.
Six years ago a BBC Panorama investigation identified at least 40 British schools and children’s clubs taught the Saudi curriculum.
They were believed to have been teaching at least 5,000 pupils.

According to the programme, textbooks showed how the hands and feet of thieves are chopped off.
One of them asked pupils to list the "reprehensible" qualities of Jewish people.
A text for younger children asks what happens to someone who dies who is not a believer in Islam - the answer given in the text book was "hellfire".
One in 12 schoolchildren in England and Wales are now officially classed as Muslim after a decade which saw the number of followers of Islam surge by just over 1.1 million, according to 2015 figures.
