Horror as man falls from Birmingham Bullring balcony
A MAN has fallen from a balcony in the Birmingham Bullring shopping centre, horrifying witnesses and sparking a panicked evacuation.

The man fell from the top balcony in the mall on Saturday afternoon, sparking what one shopper described as “horrible scenes.”
He was taken by ambulance to hospital where he remains.
A spokesman for the Bullring said: “We can confirm there was an incident at the centre this afternoon.
“Medical assistance was called immediately and the male in question has been taken to hospital by the emergency services for further medical attention.”

A part of the building was then hastily evacuated as emergency services rushed to the scene.
The evacuation was described as a “riot” by two separate shoppers, with security personnel rushing to move people away from the distressing scene.
The man was seen on the ground level near the wooden flooring
One person said on Twitter: “It’s like a riot in the Bullring, someone has jumped off the top floor again.”
Another added: “Someone just jumped off the top level of the Bullring and I saw the body on the floor and I'm shaking.”
