Child 'left stranded on minibus outside kindergarten for more than two hours'
A NURSERY worker was suspended after a child was allegedly left stranded on a minibus outside a kindergarten for more than two hours on the hottest day of the year.
Camau Bach is a Welsh nursery that caters for 105 children
The youngster was allegedly abandoned alone on the bus in Aberystwyth, mid Wales on Tuesday as local temperatures reached more than 31 degrees.
Staff failed to notice they were missing, it has been claimed.
The age and gender of the child involved has not been released.
The nursery will remain closed until next Thursday

The nursery – Camau Bach - is run by charity Mudiad Meithrin and caters for up to 105 children.
The incident has now been referred to the Care and Social Services Inspectorate (CSSIW) and the council’s safeguarding board.
The nursery will now be closed for a week - until next Thursday July 28 - to allow a full investigation to take place.
The member of staff responsible for the child was immediately suspended from her work, the group said.

A spokesperson for ‘Camau Bach’ said: “Following a serious incident on Tuesday, July 19 when a child was left - unbeknown to staff - in a minibus for over two hours outside the nursery, the incident was referred to CSSIW and the local Protection Board.
“The member of staff responsible for the child was suspended from work immediately pending an investigation.
"In order to allow for a full investigation, ‘Camau Bach’ will be closed for a week.”
The CSSIW said it was notified on Tuesday night and described the incident as ‘terrible.’
“We are in close contact with the provider and the local authority safeguarding team to ensure all steps are being followed to avoid this terrible incident happening again.”
A statement on Camau Bach’s Facebook page tells parents the nursery will be closed following an incident “so that in house training and maintenance can take place” and apologises for any inconvenience.
