Mr Savage’s unbridled delight over Wales beating Belgium sent Twitter users into a frenzy as the commentator was likened to Icelandic commentator Gudmundur Benediktsson.
Mr Benediktsson has become a cult hero across the world after his incredible reaction to his nation's historic win over Austria at Euro 2016.
