Terror suspect teen arrested at Manchester Airport released on bail
A TEENAGER arrested at a UK airport on suspicion of terrorism offences has been released on police bail.
The teen was arrested at Manchester Airport
The 18-year-old man was detained at Manchester Airport yesterday morning, just moments after a car burst into flames outside the terminal three building.

The teen, from Birmingham, had just arrived in the UK and was held by officers from West Midlands counter terrorism unit on suspicion of Syria-related terrorism offences.
His arrest came after a 24-year-old man and a woman, 20, both from Birmingham, were arrested in early April.

They were also granted police bail pending further inquiries.
West Midlands Police said the arrests are part of an ongoing "intelligence-led" investigation.

No one was hurt when the car, believed to be a taxi or a chauffeur-driven vehicle, exploded into a fireball and police are not linking it to the arrest of the teenager.
It was also revealed a "suspicious substance" had been found when officers raided a home in Birmingham on Thursday and arrested three men and a woman as part of an investigation involving MI5 and authorities in France and Belgium.

Police said they are not connecting the four apprehended in Birmingham, or the arrest of a 29-year-old man at Gatwick Airport in the early hours of Friday, to the Manchester Airport investigation.
