Gardener admits rape and murder of Kayleigh Haywood,15
Stephen Beadman, 28 has admitted the rape and murder of Kayleigh Haywood, 15 when he appeared at Leicester Crown Court today via video-link.

Kayleigh Haywood, of Measham, Leicestershire, disappeared on November 13 of last year and was killed two days later.
Officers from across the region helped with the desperate hunt for the teenager, whose body was discovered five days after she went missing on Leicestershire farmland.
Luke Harlow, 29 also of George Avenue, appeared at the same hearing via video-link and pleaded guilty to one count of sexual grooming and two counts of sexual activity with Kayleigh.
Both men denied one charge of false imprisonment of Kayleigh and will stand trial at Nottingham Crown Court on June 8.

Kayleigh's body was discovered five days after she went missing
At the time of her death, her family said they were "heartbroken, grief-stricken" and "utterly devastated".
The statement read: "There are no words to express the way we are feeling.
At the time of her disappearance, her family also thanked the public for their support and the media for the attention given to Kayleigh's disappearance.
Many people in the local area helped Kayleigh's family and the police in the search to find her.

Kayleigh’s body was discovered in a field a few hundred yards from where she was last seen.
She disappeared after being dropped off outside Ibstock Community College, Leicestershire, by her parents last November.
