One of the good guys: Stranger pays £80 petrol bill for man who filled up without wallet
A BARRISTER is searching for a Good Samaritan who paid his £80 petrol bill when he discovered he had forgotten his wallet after filling up his tank with petrol.
An incredible act of kindness
The fellow customer came to his aid as Edward Lewis, 67, found he had no means of paying the £78.19, telling him: "Consider it an early Christmas present."
Mr Lewis said: "It was the most extraordinary act of kindness. Out of nowhere he came forward and told the cashier, 'Put it on my card'.

"I tried to get his name and address but he was in a rush and just said 'Don't worry about it' and ran out.
"I really was overwhelmed by his kindness, and £80 is not an amount to be sniffed at. In this season ofgoodwill and charity it restores one's faith in humanity."
Mr Lewis managed to discover his saviour in a grey Range Rover at Sainsbury's near Richmond in south west London is a David Johnson.
