Dad’s the way to do it: Mike Tindall raises £250,000 for charity
THERE’S nothing like seeing daddy in a silly swimming cap to prompt a look of royal bemusement, writes Camilla Tominey.
Zara Phillips’s 18-month-old daughter Mia could not disguise her confusion as she spotted her father, the former England rugby player, emerging from the water in Perthshire yesterday.
Mike Tindall, 37, was taking part in the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon, where competitors take on a 1.35km swim, followed by a 24km run, 11km in a kayak and a 54km cycle ride.
Zara and Mia cheered him on as he partnered ex-Scottish international scrum-half Rory Lawson against British skiing champions Chemmy Alcott and Dougie Crawford to raise £250,000 for charity.
