Extreme ticket dodging: Deadly craze as man clings to Sheffield tram
CROUCHING low to avoid being spotted, a tram surfer risks death to hitch a free ride.

Now transport bosses are warning of the dangers of the terrifying stunt, branding it “dangerous” and “extremely irresponsible”.
The youth’s death-defying fare dodge was spotted by Dale Pask in Sheffield, South Yorks, who caught the crazy antic on camera.
But in a stark warning, a South Yorkshire Passenger and Transport executive said someone could be killed. He added: “We strongly discourage this reckless behaviour. It is not clever or funny and could lead to someone getting seriously hurt – or worse.”
Tram surfing is an increasing problem in cities across the UK. Transport bosses in Manchester were forced to adapt their trams after teenagers were repeatedly caught hitching a ride.
And the daft dodge has also been spotted on Edinburgh’s new tram network.
